Chloris Technologies Pty Ltd (Chloris, we, us, our) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identity & contact data: name, email address, phone number, professional role, and organisation.
  • Health information: where you voluntarily provide it in the course of using our platform or participating in research — including symptom history, diagnostic timelines, or clinician-entered records.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, browser, IP address, and interaction logs.
  • Communications: the content of messages you send us via email, forms, or support channels.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 without verifiable parental or guardian consent.

Collection Notice

We collect personal information directly from you when you register for early access, complete a form, correspond with us, or use our platform. We may also collect information from your healthcare provider where you have authorised that disclosure. Where practicable, we will notify you at the point of collection of the purposes for which information is being collected.

Why We Collect It

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our diagnostic support platform.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
  • Send you information about our services where you have consented or where we have a legitimate interest.
  • Conduct research and product development to improve outcomes in women's health.
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Protect the safety and security of users, clinicians, and our systems.

Where we process sensitive information (including health information), we will only do so with your consent or where another APP exception applies.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers: cloud infrastructure, analytics, and communication platforms that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements (including Microsoft Azure — see microsoft.com/privacy).
  • Authorised clinicians: healthcare professionals who are part of your care team, where you have given consent.
  • Regulators and law enforcement: where required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.

Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients (for example, cloud infrastructure providers), we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the APPs.

How We Protect Your Information

We implement technical and organisational security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. Health information is stored in accordance with applicable Australian health records legislation. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to industry-standard protections.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Health records may be subject to mandatory minimum retention periods under applicable legislation. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (noting this may affect your ability to use some features).
  • Complain about a breach of the APPs.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@chlorislabs.com. We will respond within 30 days.
